The Cottage
The cottage is intriguing, in that it's outside belies the quirky charm of the interior which provides roomy accommodation. The cottage is on a hillside and each ground floor room has a different level. Nearly all of the furnishings are new and of the highest standard. Year round warmth is provided by panel and storage heaters with a cosy log burning stove in the lounge to ensure you are snug.
The delightful double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom/WC has glorious views over the Barle Valley. (There is also a cot/bed for a child under 6 yrs.) Facilities include a pine bed with luxurious pocket sprung mattress, all seasons duvet, ample wardrobe space, remote T.V., teasmade, water carafes and hair dryer.
On the ground floor is a spacious beamed sitting room, dressed with quality drapes. It is dominated by the large fireplace with log burner, flanked either side by a beautiful pair of stained glass windows which look stunning in the afternoon sun. Furnishings include leather Chesterfield Suite (the sofa converts to another double bed), television, video and hi-fi/ CD player. There is also a further well proportioned shower/WC room with an electric shower.

The kitchen/diner, which has recently been completely refitted with plenty of useful, well thought out shaker style cupboards. The equipment includes a microwave, electric double oven and hob, extractor fan, fridge with freezer compartment and an auto wash/drying machine together with all the usual kitchen utensils. The dining area takes advantage of the views from the patio windows over the small garden.
There is one clearly marked off road parking bay.
