Dulverton

A short stroll along the River Barle brings you to the genteel town centre, which is reminiscent of a bygone era. There is a wide range of pubs, restaurants, stores including a butcher, greengrocer, delicatessen, supermarket, NatWest Bank (with cash point) and numerous interesting shops. The Heritage Centre and the headquarters of the Exmoor National Park can also be found here.

A view of Church Lane, Dulverton, not our cottage

It is a very popular base for walking, riding, fishing or just experiencing the unspoilt beauty of Exmoor with its contrasting wooded coombes, open moors and dramatic coastline. A paradise for true nature lovers, offering a remarkable variety of flora and wildlife including buzzards, badgers, red deer and of course wild Exmoor Ponies.
